Energia

The site visits to Energia Group’s Hydrogen Refuelling Station (HRS), the first of its kind on the island of Ireland, will take visitors to see hydrogen fuel cell double-decker buses being refuelled at Translink’s Milewater Service Centre in Belfast.

It takes just 15 minutes to refuel one hydrogen fuel cell double-decker bus - enough for a full day’s service around Belfast.

With funding from the Office of Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) and Northern Ireland’s Department of Infrastructure, Energia’s HRS is an example of how public and private partnerships are driving the energy transition and making the decarbonisation of public transport a reality.

The Translink depot is 10 minutes from the Conference location. Tours will commence at 14:00 on the 29th Nov and will finish around 16:00.  Visitors will be transported via a hydrogen fuel cell bus to the Milewater Service Centre depot and dropped back to Titanic Belfast.

This site visit has reached capacity and is not accepting further visitors.
